Get Out of Your Comfort Zone When Dealing With Your Children

You should learn to get out of your comfort zone when dealing with your children anytime it comes to discipline .

Parenting is not easy.It was never easy for our own parents during their time. Therefore we should not expect it to be so easy for us to do.

Much as we love our children l will seriously advise that we should be very careful about taking the right step at the right time so that we will not regret the steps we failed to take when the time comes.

Our comfort zone is our soft part;it is such a place that we always think about whenever we should really apply the rod to treat the child appropriately where it matters most. But it is so unfortunate that some parents have not learnt to leave their comfort zone and stop sparing the rod and spoiling the child in the process.

You should not see the matter of discipline of your child as wickedness. It is what you should do when you need to do so.And to do it successfully means that you should get out of your comfort zone when dealing with your children from now on

Happy parenting!

100%Fruits Found To Be Good For KIds

Complete fruit juice is said to be very good for your kids according to the new study.

Based on the result of the new study, those children who drink 100 percent fruit juices are less likely to become obese and overweight and they also enjoy more nutritious diets as compared to the kids who do not drink the beverages at all.

The lead researcher said that fruit juice is healthy and in contributes nutrients in every diet of the children. She also added that parents should learn to put fruit in ever meal that they prepare.

There was a common misconception that 100 percent fruit juice often contain a lot of sugar. She said that this is just naturally occurring sugar similar to what could be found in milk and whole fruit.

However, anything in excess is bad. Too much drinking may lead to complications like diarrhea.

Take what your child says seriously

You’ve got to take what your child says seriously if you do not want to regret it much later in your life.

Some times the children make frantic efforts to let their parents know that they are in real trouble, but more often than not most parents tend to neglect what their children are saying.

Where they pretend to be listening their minds are not really there with their child.

This attitude is regrettable indeed.

You should, as much as possible lend your ears to what your child is trying to say regardless of how the child is passing his/her message across to you.

If you give your child the chance to say what he/she is feeling , the possible of you helping out in the very hour of needs is assured. The child too will be grateful to you and will always feel happy and at ease to tell you how he/she is feeling.

Make sure that you take what your child says seriously henceforth.

Parenting Skills Should Be Learnt By Everybody

Parenting skills should be learnt by everybody who aspires
to be called a parent.

It isn’t every father that could be called a parent in the real
sense of the word. For this singular reason, therefore, whoever
spires to be given the tag “A Parent” needs to acquire the
necessary knowledge of what parenting is all about before
embarking of the adventure.

These days we are faced with so many societal problems
because there are those who were given birth to in the society
but who were not properly trained by their so called parents.
This made them turn against the whole of the socirety in
prostest against what they think the society fails or
deliberately denies them.

But, is it true?

Are we all guilty because a couple failed in their social
responsibility to their child?

Must we become restless and sleepless because someone
somewhere neglects his duty to his child?

Honestly, if you ask me my answer will continue to be NO!

Why must l be made to go through some inconveniences
simply because of the inaction of someone who is so lacken
in his family commitment as to neglect the training of his child?

Are we to suffer the same fate as a man who does not feel
anything cocern for the child he as brought to this world ?

This is why l’m suggesting here that there is an urgent need
for everybody that want to a callled a parent to undergo a
skill acquisition programme before bringing any baby to the
world.

This is my opinion and l stand strongly by it.

Any objection to this is highly welcomed.

Having a Child: Is it worth it?

Is having a child of your own worth it, if critically

looked at?

Must we try by all means possible to get our own;

‘little bundle of joy’ or ‘the embodimwnt of trouble’

some mothers prefer to cal them.

No matter how you feel about having a baby, the

fact remains that most people who are yet to be blessed

with their own babies are always thinking about it most

of the days of their lives.

But, is having a child worth the pains, trauma and

psychological stress one passes through?

The answer to the question can only be answered by you.

You are the one who is going to take the final decision on

this.Whatever you come up with is yours and nobody could

blame you for it.

To have a child one needs to first have a partner,l guess you

that yourself.Though science has made it to be easier these

days because you can get pregnant without going through the

natural process of having sex with a partner.

You can only come to the level of the above provided you can

provide the money. And this could be very expensive indeed.

Besides this you still have to go through the stage of carrying

the child in your own womb until that time when he matures

for delivery at the right time.

After the gestation period you will have to go through the pains

of child birth which a lot of people are afraid to go through. Are

you ready for that? Do you want to carry your own baby or do you

want to pass through a surrogate mother. The decision is yours.

The aftermath of child birth labour could not be quantified.Who

feels it knows it!

The experiences you go through when the baby is finally here with

you can not be described in the full sense of it.You can be turned

to a mental heck if care is not taken.

Look at yourself with full.Be frank with yourself and decide on

your own whether you are cut out for this – having a child of

your own.

Think about the eventual joy of seeing another human being

coming to the world through you.

Think about the experience of watching this same human being

growing from babyhood to adulthood.

Think about the rewards you can get through the children you have

when they grow up and start to pay you back in your old age when

you are no maore in a position to do all the things that you are doing

today.

After all and said, the final decision is yours and not another person’s.

Make a decision today if you find having a child worth the trouble.

Seven Things You Are Likely to Get Having Children

Here are seven things you are likely to get having your own

children, if you desire to have them anyway.

Whatever opinion you owe concerning whether to have a

baby or not is not so important. This is because if you have

your own baby you will surely go through the following seven

things which a mother had alleged were the only things that she

could tell the world were the the things shge got from having a

baby- these and nothing more, according to her.

Stretch Marks: You will surely have stretch marks especiallyabout your belly when you become pregnant and thisyou can’t

control in any way no matter how much you try not to have it.

Varicose Veins: These are veins that are permanently dilated;they appear mostly in the legs. These vains are embarrassing to

some mothers-to-be anytime they are pregnant. But can they

help themselves to get rid of it? No. These are natural things

which could not be controlled.

Swollen Ankles: Are you pregnant now as you’re readingthis? If you are, check down your ankles right away and you

will see for yourself what l’m talking about here. The ankles

are already swollen perhaps. That is nature for you,you just

can’t help it.

Red Raw Hands: Your hands will become reddened whenyou are pregnant because there are so many hormones that

are developing simultaneously in your body system hence

the raw red hands you are having right now.Don’t worry

yourself so much when you begin to notice this.

Bad Back:Don’t be surprise to beginning to have a painfulback ache most of the time as you become pregnant, more

so when the baby in you begins to grow within you. This is

going to be intolerable in itself that you may feel like throwing

up.But don’t try to.Just take things in their stride and continue

to tolerate it even as painful as they may seem to you.

Frustrated Husband: Your husband may be loving and kindbefore you become pregnant.Yes, that is the way it usually seem.

Men are all like that. But when you become a‘big round belly’,

they become somewhat frustrated, ever harsh and intolerable

with your condition because you are now looking some how

disfigured and not the beautiful lady he has fallen in love with.

If care is not taken you may, at this stage of your marriage, be

drifting towads separation as the man may become attracted to

some ladies outside instead of you.

Mental /Psychological Stress: Dear reader, there is no way youcan escape the possibilies of having a mental trauma after the birth

of your baby. And this is the truth which you should begin to adjust

yourself to by now becausre there is no means of escaping it in

anyway. What with the baby needing your attention when you

don’t even have the time for yourself to accomplish what you

have decided to do.

These are seven of the things you are likely to get when you

decide in your mind to begin to have a baby of your own.

Are you set for them?

Do you think it is worth it?

If you think so…

Then go ahead, make efforts to get your own children soon.

How To Successfully Engage Your Teenager To Get Him/Her To Talk

How to successfully engage your teenager to get him/her to
talk to you and ,in addition feel free to see you as a confidant.

Most teenagers are secretive in their doings. They could be so
for some reasons better known to them.

But as a parent you must ensure that you break that silence
the moment it becomes so unbearable to you.

It really should be so because you and you teenage child need
to always maintain some form of communication before things
go wrong with him/her to the extent of contemplating suicide
if he/she is not find things around him/her comfortable any
more.

You can successfully engage your teenage to get him/her to
talk to you by first creating the necessary atmosphere which
is free of stress and tension.

The creation of such environment will make the child lower his/
her guard and see you as a friend with whom he/she could
discuss whatsoever may be agitating his/her mind and even
possibly get a solution to his problems in confidence.

Eat together in an eatery away from the common sight of the
home environment which may remind him of the ’slave-master’
relationship with which he/she has come to associate the
house with since he /she was a toddler.

The two of you could playfully engage in a sporting activity
which he/she is interested in.Remember, the atmosphere must
be cordial in all respect for you to get the good result you
desire from the exercise which is to get your teenager to talk
to you.

Avoid a third party whenever you choose to engage your
teenager in any talk .This is because the involvement of the
third party would make him/her feel ‘caged’,which will make
you lose the opportunity to get to talk to him/her again.

Allow for free flow of thought anytime he/she decides to talk
to you.For once choose not to hear his/her manner of
speaking and all other gesticulations that come with.

Don’t caution!

Remember this is meant to be a free- time when everybody
is free to say things as he/she feels.

Try do some of these or all and see if your relationship would
not change.

5 Reasons Why You Must Inspire Your Kid To Persevere

You must inspire your kid to persevere anytime he feels like
quitting what seems to be a difficult assignment for him.
You can not afford to fold your arms when ,after atempting
a task, your kid suddenly makes a u-turn and give up
attempting.

If you give support to such an effort;if instead of
encouraging him to push on, you nod your head in agreement
wth the kid’s decision to pack it all aside and find something
else to do, you will be creating a quitter’s spirit in the kid’s
mind.

You will be,unwittingly though, telling the kid there is
nothing worthy of any struggle in life. You will also be saying
indirectly that he should never make any serious efforts to
achieve whatever he aims to achieve in life as it is not worth
the struggle.

Is that what you really desire for your own kid?

I bet, you don’t wish him to be a quitter no matter how tough
the assignment may be!

Here are five reasons why you must inspire your kid to
persevere in the time of difficulties:

1. Life is not a bed of roses,so a wise adage says. For this
reason, therefore, the real truth about what life is apart
from romantic things the kid reads about in fictions should
be taught by the parents to make the kid brace up for the
    ‘battle’ ahead.

2. When a kid is adequately taught the true lessons of life,
there will be nothing that can make him feel discouraged
anytime he is unable to get what he wants at the time he
wants it. He will persevere until when he attain his goal.

3.  You will be at rest with yourself because the kid has
imbibed the true lessons of life from you and not the
     wrong ‘teachers’- his peers.

4.  There will be less negative peer influence in your kid’s life.
This is because whatever his mates may try to say, which
may be contrary to what you had taught him at home, will
not have any effects on him.And where with will, such
effects shall be little as he will likely caution himself upon
the realisation of the fault inherent in such decision.

5.  You can be sure of a better future for your kid.As long as
he has imbibed the culture of perseverance at a very young
age, he is likely going to continue that way for the rest of
his life. And what else is greater than that?

5 Tips to Preventing Injuries From A Baby Walker

A baby walker is used when a child has not developed a
steady ability to walk on his own,but he is already old enough
to sit securely.

It is a good tool in training a baby to walk. However, there is a
need to take the necessary precautions while using the baby
walker in order to prevent your baby from having an aviodable
injury.

The following preventive measures should be taken when
your baby is on a baby walker:

1. The baby walker should be used only on a smooth flat floor
without carpets, door threshold or any form of obstructing
object that may cause the baby walker to tip over while the
    baby is using it.

2. There should always be somebody around to oversee how
the baby is using the baby walker in order to prevent an
unforseeable injury as quickly as it is about to occur.

3. Before putting your baby on his baby walker, trry to close
your gate and stair guards securely.

4. Make sure your baby’s walker has at least six wheels and
a wheel which is wider and longer than the normal height of
   the seat.

5. Most modern baby walkers come with an X-frame formation
and for this reason you should look for the ones with spacers
between the collapsing components. It must also have locking
devices that will prevent the baby walker from collapsing
suddenly while the baby is siting on it.
